Virtual Reality Domains (VR)

Spaceship
Watch
Im betting big bucks on VR domains have a great future and with the big boys buying up VR companies, mainstream is a stones throw away.....

Lots of VR+keyword.com taken years ago and I noticed this sale a week or so back -

VRTechnology.com $3688

This was a steel and I can soon see everything from VRPoker / VRCasinos / VRShopping / VRBrowsing / VRTours / VRWorlds / etc etc....having a high price tag even now at the start of VR hitting mainstream...

I have just paid $x,xxx for a name but will not be showcasing as the domain is in escrow at present....

Feel free to showcase your VR domains If you like...

Cheers

It’s getting closer to your mark with two days to go. Must be an end user in play. Like you said, great VR name with unlimited possibilities.

Had an interesting talk the other day about the coronavirus. Viruses like this could have a huge impact on how people live. If being forced to stay home becomes the way of life for many of us. VR could become a necessity. Much safer to stay home, get educated in vr classrooms or do your business conferences without the need to travel.

I see that not only virtually but realistically too. :)

OK...Now VRlife is half way between your guess $2500 and my guess $5500...with 30 minutes to go. Raises all VR name values.

What are you thoughts on aquvr.com and arhumanity.com ? Do you think ar domains could be in high demand in the future ?
I recently saw a underwater vr scooter thought aquvr.Com could be great brand if more products were to go in that direction or Maybe a aquatic sea life adventure or vr underwater exploration 🤷🏼‍♀️

I focused on VR, mainly because I figured Virtual Reality games/products/sites would need a domain more than AR domains. AR is going to be huge though. AquaVR made be better, even with the extra letter.

It's a great name, won't mean a thing for mediocre names

True, but even great VR domains have been off of the radar for most domain investors.

For the VR Cannucks out there: VRtech, VRLabs (.ca)

big VR Sales.. of any keyword are good for VR domains in general.

same for other niches.

of course crap domains in any niche will rarely sell. that's LIFE ;)

I used to work in that industry and haven't seen much growth since the development of underwater VR exploration equipment in the early 90's (when the Internet was in it's infancy). Not to say things might change and I didn't buy many domains back then either.

I think it does mean something. It doesn't mean that mediocre names will be any less mediocre, of course. But I do think that a rising tide lifts all boats.

Honestly, I wouldn't. There's little about VR glasses that could align with an organization. Maybe a safety committee?

yes but i did not get this nme thinking about organizations.. honestly... .org names aren't strictly just about organization connection... you can see this across the many namebio org sales etc.. its just that glasses is probably the best VR keyword... or top 3... so... had my doubts. thanks for input ;)

well put... you gotta be careful though with VR AR or other niches.. there are some names which simply will never sell no matter what... but... wth a bit of practice and experience.. you can pick even average nmes.. and make some sales out of it.. happened to me quite a bit in VR... happens to others regularly too.. across all kinds of niches..

but definitely any big sale in VR is putting eyes on VR.. no matter what... thats importnat.

I predicted $5500. Two different folks wanted it and I think one was an end user. Maybe both?

VRlife is a great name.

6k for an end user makes sense through GoDaddy
