Virtual Reality Domains (VR)

Spaceship Spaceship
Watch
Im betting big bucks on VR domains have a great future and with the big boys buying up VR companies, mainstream is a stones throw away.....

Lots of VR+keyword.com taken years ago and I noticed this sale a week or so back -

VRTechnology.com $3688

This was a steel and I can soon see everything from VRPoker / VRCasinos / VRShopping / VRBrowsing / VRTours / VRWorlds / etc etc....having a high price tag even now at the start of VR hitting mainstream...

I have just paid $x,xxx for a name but will not be showcasing as the domain is in escrow at present....

Feel free to showcase your VR domains If you like...

Cheers

StarVR Corporation Prepares to Go Public on Taiwanese Stock Exchange

Kinda makes me wish I had negotiated for cash AND stock when I sold StarVR... Still, fun to watch one of your "babies" grow up and make it all the way to a major stock exchange! ;)

How would one go about doing that? I had once requested that on one of my domains but never knew how to go about it. Lol

Edit: also. Kinda kicking myself for allowing DefendVR.com drop. Someone picked it up. Either at auction or drop.

Realizing now it's a hack/url shortener for "Defend er".

Any thoughts? Should I have kept this one?

No need to to kick your self for that one (imho)

if it was DefendAR it would be some kind of a word play .

Yea thought that too. Thanks.
Also thought it could be a good name for some kind VR game. But it's not generic enough like GameVR or vrgame.
Someone did pick it up though. Bit of regret. Best of luck to the new owner.

Moving on.
How are you Elad?

I was trying to do outbounds for ico domains and came across on of yours . Lol Small world. I forget which.

Received my book today “Experience On Demand...What Virtual Reality Is, How It Works And What It Can Do...Jeremy Bailenson”. Thirty pages in I can tell this will increase my knowledge of VR many times over. For those doubting the potential of VR, this book is a must read.

I was looking at expired domains and a gem flashed up...VRdomains. Auction ends in 6 days. It had one bid, so I was wondering when the action would pick up. Just now I see it has three bids. GD value $4515. This one should give us a good idea of the value for prime VR+keyword. Hope someone here gets it and builds a site to just list VR domains for sale. I know there's a poster here that has a website VRdomainNames that lists some of his good domains on it.

Well I really wanted it. I was going to bid up to $250-$275, but it left me. I was going to build a VR domains only specific web site with VRdomains as the domain. Hope one of you guys get it and do it.

It's usually good practice and courtesy to not post about names still in live auction. Sorry, but If you really wanted the name especially at a discount, you didn't help your case by advertising the auction on here. I wasn't bidding on it anyways but I didn't take notice of it till you mentioned it here. Jut something to consider if you're trying to get a name on the cheap.

Didn’t know it was a courtesy not to post about upcoming, ongoing auctions. I saw it as promoting VR names...period, which should help all of us with VR names if sale prices rise. I thought the price would be over $1000, so I figured I’d be out of the loop anyway. Regretted posting, as it’s not that high above my bid price now. Yes you did poo poo this name as not that great when I posted. Thanks for the feedback.

It isn't confirmed yet, but looks like I sold the following for $800 via GD. (Do not type it out please, I don't want it indexed.)

Mmmmmmm.. Take a look under the "Additional Sedo .com Sales Between $2,000 - $4,960" section.

"Elsewhere, FatCityProperties posted four sales - FoodInBulk.com ($5,995), iTranscend.com ($4,995), MooreHomes.com ($3,500) and Milinea.com ($2,500) while (>>>>>>) DeepNames.com attracted $2,500 for ImmersedVR.com."

Oh wow, read the ones above it and completely missed ImmersedVR. Thanks

Exactly 1 year ago today
VRVR.com
Sold for $40,000.00

I own VR/VR/360//com so I figured I would maybe reach out to the owner and see if he/she had any interest at all in my domain. Well, that was a big dead end. According to all websites etc. the company that is listed as the registrar is a huge Chinese “fraudster website “ company!

I just don’t understand why, if that’s true, they would spend $40,000 US on a domain. It doesn’t compute in my brain, but I’m not a Chinese fraudster so maybe I’m missing something....

Sigh....
