Im betting big bucks on VR domains have a great future and with the big boys buying up VR companies, mainstream is a stones throw away.....

Lots of VR+keyword.com taken years ago and I noticed this sale a week or so back -

VRTechnology.com $3688

This was a steel and I can soon see everything from VRPoker / VRCasinos / VRShopping / VRBrowsing / VRTours / VRWorlds / etc etc....having a high price tag even now at the start of VR hitting mainstream...

I have just paid $x,xxx for a name but will not be showcasing as the domain is in escrow at present....

GD has a report you can generate to show whois searches. It's pointless, IMO. More often than not its either other domainers, or scammers harvesting info used to spam folks with their junk names and services.

Many factors apply, though I typically see spikes in whois searches at time of handreg, or close to renewal time.

Was watching Discovery Channel today and they had a big story on VR gloves and how you can wear them and actually feel the things that you were touching in a virtual world. It applies pressure to your fingers and hands and allows you to feel if it’s squishy or hard etc. etc.

It's going to be an interesting watch to see how VR domains do from now to the new year. The holiday season tends to be a slower time for sales but VR is such a hot thing for this holiday season that I think we may see a nice pick up as national commercials and marketing ramp up. We'll see.

VR Glove is a good one, but it’s not .com and gloves would be better. The rest of the extensions are a waste.

Well I hope so but I'm starting to think that we need to wait at least a couple more years before things start to heat up. I remember this time last year and search interest in VR exploded in the run up to Black Friday. Thus far this week and the needle isn't even moving as far as I can tell.

Personally, I've always considered them to be two word domain names, counting VR as one word.

By the way, does the word "vana" mean anything in any language? If not I wonder why some of these companies go for random made up names when there are a ton of vr names with meaningful keywords out there.
