Im betting big bucks on VR domains have a great future and with the big boys buying up VR companies, mainstream is a stones throw away.....

Lots of VR+keyword.com taken years ago and I noticed this sale a week or so back -

VRTechnology.com $3688

This was a steel and I can soon see everything from VRPoker / VRCasinos / VRShopping / VRBrowsing / VRTours / VRWorlds / etc etc....having a high price tag even now at the start of VR hitting mainstream...

I have just paid $x,xxx for a name but will not be showcasing as the domain is in escrow at present....

and if for so long, then how come no sales yet and 220 sales publically documented for VR+keyword.

the metaverse will be the physical manifestation (virtual environment) where VR users meet and interact. Remember the keyword persistence is the key to the metaverse. And with this comment I already stopped talking the metaverse.

Ok guys, I invested a lot of time in that topic. As I wrote, I'm sure VR will getting a big thing and the value of our domains getting increased.

But what comes next or in addition? I'm also sure, that VR and AR will merge within the next 4-5 years in one product categorie. But which name will this technology get? Will VR dominate AR or AR dominate VR or do we get a new category above that?

Holo? Maybe... Or Cinematic Reality as Magig Leap calls their technology? Maybe...

But I also see a very good chance for "mixed reality". That is the scientific name for the combination of VR and AR in one use case / application / device. The interesting thing is, that it's shortcut with "MR" is already very overbooked, because of "Mister". That's why the "mixedreality...." domains will get an higher value than the "virtualreality...." ones. Just my five cents.
