Again to those who try and make profit off of victims of crime and or tragedy will always be frowned upon regardless of what I say and or feel. Or what feeble attempt of insults on your part that have no bearing on my comments.
The only attempt people like me and those who have similar feelings will have any liking to those who buy such domains that have no connection whatsoever to the event to pull themselves up into a respectable limelight.
1. Develop the domain and honor those who died. Or provide stats and or anything relevant to the event.
OR
2. Let the people who have some kind of connection the event. Buy the domain at reg fee and or give it to them free.
OR
3. Take the money that one profits from the domain and donate to charity.
I do believe that those who have strong feelings of those who buy domains to profit off of tragedy will always be frowned upon for being greedy.
BTW the comment you made
He got greedy in Europe, over ran most of Europe and lost the war due to his greed and bigotry. And for years the descendants in Germany suffered greatly because of that greed and bigotry, hate crimes and discrimination.
So think twice about trying to compare to me such a dispectable and intolerable man and situation is uncalled for period. I am so disappointed in you to make such a comparison that had no baring on this discussion watsoever.
Your comments are not moralizing but condescending, dispectable and demoralizing to say the least. And by all means I am highly and greatly offended. Considering what that man did to my people.
:bingo: but yours are my friend. Please tell us why you need to say the same thing several times when 99% of people agree with the sentiment?lpstong said:Your comments are not moralizing
This is not a surprise because you don't take the time to read/understand what is actually being said to you. For that reason I will say no more on the matter.lpstong said:I am highly and greatly offended
lpstong said:But in essence, those who take up the practice of buying domains of such incidences are just to capitalize, and are whores themselves. Predators to say the least. And give genuine domainers a bad name/rap.

WHO GAVE YOU THE HIGH GROUND TO MAKE DECISIONS FOR OTHERS?
I beg to differ...knowledge in and of itself is a connection...what connection do you have to hitler killing "your people"? They were humans so they were my people as well.
Nope that's mainly you and a few others...doubtful it's the majority of domainers.
goodkarmaco said:The general public does not think twice if a domain is registered for profit because of tragedy, they find something and if it is not what they were looking for they close out of the page and look for more information.
Names that are not to a persons liking are a dime a dozen, so lets all be grown ups and allow a lttle free speech, and who knows maybe we will have a world where we can allow others to persue their agenda.
And this is the essence of the thread I think. Despite our business pursuits, we all have a certain ethical underpinning that guides even our business decisions, actually everything we do.labrocca said:... I don't screw people over.
