I dunno ... They took over the iwon.com site as well - They have now switched all Searches over to AskJeeves this past week .... It's turning into a large amount of "Searchers" again

I have a feeling this could potentially ruin Askjeeves. When Google wont comment on this to me shows they are very annoyed. Especially after Google pulled them through the dot com bust. Will watch and see what happens, with a 6% search share compared to the 36% Goog and 30% Yahoo they are playing a pretty hefty game doing what they are.

In the end, a company has to be able to grow. If google doesn't like the fact that AskJeeves is going to grow and evolve, tough. AskJeeves doesn't exist just to please google.

no, but I dont think they are trying to "catchup". They are trying to increase income by eliminating the middle man.
