Surely nice to find one. But I've yet to know any registrar with any incentive
to offer that.

The .25 is an ICANN fee, so if a registrar is offering that they're eating the cost themselves ... unlikely.

I think ICANN is charging the fee only if the domain stays registered.
If the registrar delete the domains in the first days, ICANN does not charge any fee.

No, ICANN also refunds the $ .25 fee for deleting .com and .net domain names
within their 120-hour window. Got this from a few registrar peers.

Some registrars are keeping the $.25 and will say it's the ICANNT non-refundable fee. Not very fair :hehe:
