Vioxx - Will this be the next Mesothelmia as far as domains are concerned?

When I heard about the Vioxx cases I immediately started to check up for available domains and ALL the good ones were gone. What do you think? Are we going to see the craze like we did with Mesothelmia? Will law firms be paying ridiculous amounts for this keyword?

I started a thread on the same topic at http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=117031

It will be interesting to see what happens with the vioxx ad rates

If vioxx is related to the pill you can take i read on drugs.com that it has had a worldwide recall.

Ya the Vioxx thing is nothing new, I put up a webpage about the problems of Vioxx months upon months ago.

The tricky bit with lawsuit domains, is that for speculative resale, you have to pretty much have the number one phrase like: Tylenol Lawsuit .com (for sale, BTW)

When a class-action is awarded, is suddenly reduces the number of potential customers (lawyers) because only one firm gets to handle the case. With Mesothelmia, there is a broader-base because a lawyer can go ahead and sue "joes welding shop" or some entitiy other than an international drug company.

OK, I'm an admited name slut. I'll try for the quick buck. But, it's all in how you approach it slicing that pie.

I got vioxxtrial.org (authoritative / blog / forum site potential) that will have legs the entire time that the trial goes on. I also got vioxxsuit.info (ditto above). I would actually rather have these tld's vs. .com in this instance for the exact reason you mentioned.

The way these would be able to make $$ is by hosting a blog / forum site and selling ads to other drug attornies and having some ppc too. So long as the biopharms put out drugs to cure our ails, others will try to cash in when the can. This merck ruling is going to have some legs. At least a few years.

FWIW, here's some overture bids on various Vioxx terms. I'm showing the price of the #5 bid to weed out a little of the bogus top bids.

vioxx $10.00
vioxx lawsuit $9.01
vioxx lawyer $7.62
vioxx recall $5.08
vioxx side effects $5.01
vioxx litigation $5.00
vioxx news $2.99
vioxx class action $2.60
vioxx claim $0.42
