    Hello,
I keep seeing retail stores closing and online stores and apps opening.

This has been happening for a while now. If retail stores sat on "real estate" and now those stores are online and those websites are being hosted by datacenters. Then is "datacenter" the new "real estate" as far as keyword value is concerned?

When a new industry is created there will always be competition. Each competitor will need a brand name. It is only natural for a datacenter business to "Squat" on the keyword "datacenter" in their domain for SEO value.

What do you think? do you invest in Datacenter domains?

I see your point but I don't think the term will ever be as popular as real estate, just my opinion. I do like "data" related names.

Real will always be real, but virtual can be and sometimes may vaporize.

Datacenter REIT's are true winners in the digital age. hate to see these mom and pop stores disappear and even big box stores. Restaurants and Starbuck's will surely stay because Yelpers need something to criticize. I'm reminded of that South Park Episode.

    My bet is on ReitDatacenter.com

A place where investors can check out what Datacenter Reit's to invest in.

People just go to malls to stretch their legs, and walk to browse it seems like. I always try to look for the amount of people with bags in their hands, and it’s becoming less, and less.

See more Starbucks opening, and more best buys closing.

I see a world where people don't go to the mall as a family just to get out the house. Do some shopping. See and be Seen. Movie theaters will be a thing of the past since malls will closeup shop.

unless we're going to just have malls that looks like State Fairs then alright. With rides and stuff. but even then. stuff like that will go Virtual. We have a ton of domainers banking on VR domains right now in the VR thread.

I actually met a datacenter developer. Told me that a typical datacenter on average runs $2 million to $5 million to build.

The trick is finding cheap electricity. usually near a dam or solar but the best is someplace Cold as the servers run hot.

He said the money now is in bitcoin datacenters but not just Bitcoin but for all coins.

    and for that I own CoinDatacenter.com, CryptoDatacenters.com,BitDatacenter.com

No, data centers are simply a healthy emerging sector of a real estate market that blankets the globe. Retail brick and mortar churn is a fly on real estate's windshield, 7.5B people (going up) have a lot up their sleeve and need elbow room.

Thanks. In that case, can't go wrong with RealEstateDatacenter.com or propertyDatacenter.com
