Value of Domain Hacks

Here's my question..what is the value of domain hack? I've seen some good domain hack and i was wondering about the value of it. I myself own one and i'm not sure whether or not i should get more. I haven't seen any sale of domain hack. Why do we register domain hack? Is it because the domain looks cool or because there's a potential end user who's willing to buy such domain?

voice search is a novelty that will never be. People are fascinated with advancements in technology so voice search is getting hype only for that reason.

But as I sit hear with a handset and an option to click the voice button on google and use it, I won't as It requires more effort to do a voice search than a type search, especially since the debut of autocomplete.

Also, voice technology, even the best like dragon voice, is notoriously inaccurate. That's why voice technologies will always be second rate to type technologies.

I guess with that username you would say that, there is no doubt that the situation may call for different approaches, i am not going to voice search 'big boobs' when travelling on the public bus !

I can not imagine a situation that voice search would not be insanely annoying for anybody within ear shot. Add on to that privacy concerns etc.. I agree with the above .. voice search = novelty

Assuming they manage to create a 100% correct voice search system, I don't see how voice search would affect the search results.
Surely typing in guitars would get the same results as saying guitars? It'll still be about seo and whatever we have to do in the future with google's new search algorithms.

If anything, voice search will be used (or abused) by teenagers who try to find the funniest result by pronouncing words differently or making them up.

I'm guessing this has been mentioned, but I think domain hacks generally only work well if the words before the extension work on their own as well.

For example: help.us, help.me work better than helpus.com and helpme.com (imo), they at least look better.

This was my name that I sold, but am yet to receive my money from Sedo!!! Actually, it was more towards mid-April but guess it got reported in May.

I've had problems with them claiming to send payment to my bank, but it never goes through & it apparently gets rejected due to the payment details being incorrect. I have confirmed with my bank that it's correct.

In the past month I've sent them 3 messages on their site but they haven't had the courtesy to reply back!! They are really starting to p*ss me off! Has anyone else had issues with them paying up?

Does anyone have a contact @ Sedo who they know is reliable & can sort things out over there? If you can PM me with their email, that would be greatly appreciated.

I had issues like this before with escrow. Check your SWIFT and IBAN details, if I remember right the issue was because I copy pasted the details and there was an extra space or something which messed up the transfer.

I also had issues with sedo and buyers backing out but in your case it sounds like sedo has secured the payment already so you should have no worries that you will receive your funds, give them a call I would say and ask for someone that can help you over there to speed up the process.

That's why cctlds like me, ly, so, be, it, in, and fm have become so popular from a site development perspective in recent years.

No they don't. In fact hacks are much better when they are one word ie
aweso.me
gre.at
soci.al

than message.me, find.us etc IMO
