Value of Domain Hacks

Here's my question..what is the value of domain hack? I've seen some good domain hack and i was wondering about the value of it. I myself own one and i'm not sure whether or not i should get more. I haven't seen any sale of domain hack. Why do we register domain hack? Is it because the domain looks cool or because there's a potential end user who's willing to buy such domain?

I've lost several names due to registry's aggressive restrictions.Now they have made those names premiums and asking for matching trademarks to register them. They took nearly two months just to reject my registration requests.

I registered them directly with the registry. I'm sorry to hear that, mind PMing the names they rejected? I had a few requests that were never "registered" also but never received any communication, was just on the "waitlist"

As far as I know, "Advice" is an uncountable noun - there is no plural form. So from that perspective, the word isn't grammatically nor functionally correct -> no value

Hi!

Thanks for the kind words and your support.

As it stands, the motivation is to develop this site into a one-stop place to go to for anything related to Domain Hacks - that will, in the future include a space for people to showcase their domain hacks for sale.

The way I see it, showcase is only as beneficial to people as the amount of eyeballs they could reach via the site, so the main goal for the short term is to grow and improve the visibility to the domaining, and the outside world.

I'll keep everyone updated on the progress!

If you guys really want the "Domain Hacks" market to increase, then choose a new name.

I am serious. I talk to business people all day and on the few occasions I've brought it up, the word association of "DOMAIN + HACK" is incredibly negative, especially with a massive increase in social engineering and technical hacks taking place.

I asked one friend what he thought a Domain Hack was and he said, "it's when you hack a domain, right", and that's the logical interpretation.
