I realize this can be a questionable domain, however I would apprecaite opinions. Just received a bid at sedo $225.00. Seems fair to me. Does anyone think I should counter with a higher bid or just accept.

Thanks,

I also own KKKUSA.com should I try to create a package deal, then counter with a higher offer.

"Questionable" is a gross understatement. $0 is a fair price.

I would not feel good about myself if I knowingly accepted money from a KKK member or group.

The only right thing to do with those domains are to develop into a website that debunks their ridiculous beliefs.

Personally, this is a domain that could be used for "good" or evil... depending on who buys it and how they use it. It doesn't necessarily have to be purchased by the KKK either as if you check AcronymFinder.com, you'll see there are at least several alternative meanings for the acronym.

In any case, I'd see this as a bit low, no matter who buys it, by at least half...

The price sounds fair to me, but it's your call as to whether or not you want to risk losing the sale by making a counter-offer.

Good luck!

But it's like Hitler. Surely there was/is more than 1 Hitler in the world but when you hear the name, what is the IMMEDIATE thing that comes to mind?

KKK might have many acronyms but most ppl would not want to associate themslves with it. Take the offer on SEDO and walk away. I'm shocked anyone would have offered over $100 for it.

KKK groups have money, and for them it would be a premium domain.

Take the offer.

I am not for KKK at all, but I don't get it, its busness , if you got a 250 dollar or 2k offer for a domain from a "group" you didn't like, would you turn it down? I doubt it

just think of it as busness.

Take it, GL :)

I'd offer them the package deal and up the price to about $500. I'd tell them in the comments section that I was somewhat negotiable and looked forward to negotiating a mutually fair deal. These are obviously premium names even though their assumed buyer may represent a much-hated organization.

The Ku Klux Klan is in severe decline today. They will soon be a part of history and nothing more. Were it me selling the name, I would ask the buyer if they were going to use the name to promote the Klan or would it be used in some other way. I certainly wouldn't sell it to the Klan if it turned out they were the buyers. Of course, that decision is yours to make.

I was surprised to see "Krispy Kreme Klan" as one of the acronyms..

Personally, I'd develop it as an informational site..

I wouldn't accept any amount of money from a hate group for anything that I owned.

I understand your ethics. I'd personally refrain from doing anything to aid in a hate-group. But money, in this case, is money. I wouldn't sell a gun if I knew it was going to be used for murder, ya know? This isn't the same -- it'll obviously be used to support or decry the KKK, unless they put it on a parking page, which would be a waste of $250--but I think my idea got across.

"Hate group" and "hate" have become nothing more then an Orwellian terms used to sling mud. Overused to the point of having lost any meaning.

Counter at $500 as package deal. They're less likely to refuse.

Agreed. I don't see using one without securing the other.

I'm not one for hate groups or any other domain suggesting it. IMO take the money and stay away from these names.

do the world a favor and sit on the domain or redirect it to an informational site. there is no place for it in modern civilization.

I'm not saying I agree with the stance of the KKK or any "hate groups", but I thought the ideas of modern democratized civilization were founded on freedom of speech? There are tons of nuts in this world going on and on about crazy stuff, trying to push their agendas down the throats of other people on a daily basis. Actually this behavior is what runs our country, with all the special interest groups lobbying for governmental representatives to champion their cause and paying them big bucks to do so... Maybe not all as controversial as this, but actually, when you look at the issues of abortion and gay rights, some really are...

While I personally wouldn't have registered them in the first place, it all comes down to what you personally feel comfortable with and no one else can make that call for you.

Business is business and I personally don't think facilitating free speech is unethical.
I'd do the bundle offer and take what you can get for it.
