It appears the domain industry has been starting to take notice of the .us namespace over the past year, read DnJournal.com .us growth and Namepros with even greater expectations for the year to come.

So I thought it would be a good idea to ask everyone to show us your .us domain names. You can post your favorites or your entire portfolio.

I have 'jpy' dot us and couldn't get $30 for it here 6 months ago. What do you think I can sell this for?

But thats kind of what domaining is about. Because you cant get $30 for a name doesnt mean its not worth that...at the right time. Sometimes u have to wait. but if you wait long enough the profit will come. yes this isnt a great LLL.us, but you never know. wait till LLL.us pick up again. If short domains in good extensons all have value, i think LLL.us will rebound sooner or later.

I just add .US in my Gdaddy cart and Im on Checkout page, so what will happen If I (NON US) buy .US domain?!

"Registrants of .us domains must be United States citizens, residents, or organizations, or a foreign entity with a presence in the United States" you will be able to register It but if the registry checks and finds your "not any of the above" they can take the name away, from what I know.

But it is .us, not a big sell extension to date but maybe that will change, hope so..

Isnt there a way round that whereby some registrants act as some kind of proxy? All legal and above board

I saw a .US name on Bido I thought was great and the owner had it on auction for low xx. A one word emerging tech name. I would expect that name to be in the low x,xxx bracket.

I have Midget.us but I am Limited in what I can do with it because it's a sensitive name. I found out that the "little people of America" do not like to be called midgets. They devoted a page about it called the M-word. I ended up just forwarding it to the page as a public service. Maybe I will look into donating it to the organization as long as they don't resell it.

I would do an auto forum or blog about the famous MG Midget. Great little collector car with alot of enthusiasts. When I read your post, I thought of the car.

.us is a ccTLD extension that I plan on looking into more,i like it ,though I may be biased because I am an American citizen.i realize the extension has never really caught fire (as of this post) with the American public and/or domain investors. I find it kind of strange that the extension never really "took off" considering how patriotic we are as a nation. I will be doing some research on the .us domain extension & will eventually pick some up, as for ccTLD's in general it's a domain category that I find exciting and will be interested in getting into .
