It appears the domain industry has been starting to take notice of the .us namespace over the past year, read DnJournal.com .us growth and Namepros with even greater expectations for the year to come.

So I thought it would be a good idea to ask everyone to show us your .us domain names. You can post your favorites or your entire portfolio.

Nexus does not require being a US Citizen. I'm sure a registrar with a significant user base in the US would qualify them, but IANAL.

Note: the names haven't transferred to me yet, but I did end up winning fish and adoption and they both went for low 4 figures.

Congrats on those. Nice buys.

Defaultuser,

I grew up in the Midwest, and we always called them stoves or ranges, so you may be right about the cultural thing.

Perhaps that's why it was such an easy handreg.

I have LinkWithin.us

I have sifted.us

Only real word I own. Thought it'd be good for a directory.

Still a few good domains coming up, but it looks as though the best rush names have gone through the drop process and have been auctioned already.

James went for $1,055; I knew that one would not go cheap. Sol went for $430. Rebate for $830. ISO for $281.

Looks like the only way I can see my quality keyword .us getting anything better than $xx is to let them drop! :cy:

It's good to be a registrar! Don't worry, I've seen names go through TDNAM that then had multiple backorders... which is strange because it loses age on top of the additional cost.

Congrats on the wins! Those were 2 of the 3 names I was interested in, the other being Laptops.

Do you know how much that went for?

Thanks. No, I don't know the final auction price of laptops. Sorry.

Kinda makes one wonder about the auction results. For years we read auction results from Snapnames that were fraudulently inflated due to shill bidding. When you read that a LLL.us sold for $20k, it makes me wonder if it's all on the up and up.

It makes me wonder if you should seek professional help, since you just had a good reason why that domain would sell for that much and here you are rambling about Snapnames again.
