It appears the domain industry has been starting to take notice of the .us namespace over the past year, read DnJournal.com .us growth and Namepros with even greater expectations for the year to come.

So I thought it would be a good idea to ask everyone to show us your .us domain names. You can post your favorites or your entire portfolio.

It was on my list and I had to drive to Orlando today so I had my wife try to get it. Apparently she was just a few seconds late.

She was however able to get SeeingEyeDog.us and then she saw some names on the list that she liked so I haven't added up the damage yet:)

Ouch, sending your wife out on a shopping trip? Sounds expensive to me.

My Domainer wife at that. She only picked up OrganicChef.us and it was registered at GoDaddy so I can't complain. Plus she has hand regged some very good names that have already been sold so I give her some room.

ETA: It looks like there are quite a few companies that incorporate that term in their websites so maybe she will continue her hot streak

I guess I should try that with my wife instead watching her head off to the mall.

Seriously I wish my wife wanted to be more involved with me, in the domains.

I hear you.

My husband just shakes his head--he has no idea, although he is now blogging, using a domain I acquired for him.

lol

Naw.

I cut him a break; he had to cook dinner for a week.

:hehe:

And I'll soon be adding Adsense.

Speaking from a man's perspective, That is, indeed, an end user price. :imho:

i noticed this thread, and coincidentaly my wife just opened her own godaddy account moments ago...mainly due to the beatheat99 promo which made her feel the pressure was off if it didnt sell, or if we didnt develop it! i was thrilled to find out she can open a free two year godaddy auctions account with FREETDNAM for the promo code, which she's done.

my wife's creativity makes her a better domainer than me, anyway. she enjoys looking for new hand regs, and i usually take a few of her suggestions (whether i like them or not...)

That's why all the men got all of the .co names Tuesday. The women are still mulling it over.
