described below:

Discussion Notes
Support Staff Response
Dear Ngan;

Thank you for contacting Customer Support. It seems the domain in
question is still showing the status "Changing accounts in progress."
Unfortunately, an email response is not enough to verify the
administrative contact's acceptance of this transfer request. You will
need to follow the instructions provided in the initial authorization
email in order to verify acceptance and continue the transfer process.
Please note that the Go Daddy customer account referenced in these
instructions is the one where this transfer request was purchased. If
you do not have access to this Go Daddy customer account you will need
to provide the owner of this account with the Transaction ID, Security
Code, and instructions in the transfer request email so that they may
approve this domain name transfer request. The instructions from the
email are as follows:

1. Go to godaddy.com. Be sure you're at the Go Daddy home page (instead
of clicking on unidentifiable links, pop-ups, etc.).

2. Select "My Account" from the home page. Enter your log in name (or
customer number) and password. Then click "Secure Login."

3. Select "Pending Domain Transfers" from the "Domain Names" drop-down.

4. Select the domain and click on "Transaction ID and Security Code
Required" in the Status column. Then, enter the Transaction ID and
Security
Code contained within this email and proceed.

Please let us know if we can help you in any other way.

Sincerely,

Eric B.

hello

as you can see I have had a lot of corespondes with godaddy !!Ive had
enough Ive done everything right
in this transaction "right".So Im asking you in a nice way refund my
money!!
The deal was between you and me its your responsibility .
I dont want to be sending emails everyday I bought this domain in good
faith right?
You can blame godaddy for the lose of this sale.
I dont want to negotiate any more!!!
In your email you asked me if I had followed the instructions from
godaddy? That is such an insult to me
I have hundreds of domain names, you think this is the first time Ive been
involved in a transfer of a domain??
Im not blaming you for this ok!! I have made up my mind that I dont want
to deal with this situation anymore.
Please dont reply and ask me to try and work this out its not worth the
trouble.
JUst send the refund to me asap!!!
I can contact paypal and tell them i didnt recieve anything for my
payment.!!!
I dont want that ok.
If I was in your situation with a domain sale and this happend I would
refund the payment that way
people will deal with you again .
Im sorry it turned out this way

thanks

Thanks for your email but ive had enough of this whole situation.
You tell me you dont have enough money to refund me!!!You better find it
quickly.I told you before I dont like wasting time.
This has been such a waste of time and energy, when you sell a domain
you dont spend the money before the other person recieves the domain.
Fix the problem and stop negotiating with me please.

It has been days and ive sold more than 20 domains so far and all pushed via godaddy n have no problem at all.so ive used up my paypal funds .81 usd is not little n i dun have so much money now. .I am doing my job now to help u and i even call up godaddy all the way when they are in US and rectify the problem. They say will send u a final email n u just need to accept iit n it will be settled. I ve spend money equivalent to 8 usd in calling US Godaddy customer service.. for half an hour and now u just need to accept the domain n everythings settled.I hope u coorporate here.I am doing my best to help u to get the domain because its my responsibility as i said.so as ur responsibility u just need to go tru one more last time accept the domain change n checkout in ur godaddy acc n it will all be done.Just that easy.I am not negotiating but i am doing what i should do to make this transaction successful.please accept the domain n settle this asap.thankyou.

QUESTION:

What should i do next.Am i obliged to refund? He can accept the domain name just one more step away but he refuse to do so..what can i do? He wants to report to paypal about this but its not my fault n i am oredi doing my very best to help him.I may be stupid to spend money call all the way from malaysia to Godaddy supperlong customer service waiting queue n trying to solve the problem but no regrets.i need you all opinion how to settle this.
I dun have enuf paypal funds to refund because ive bought few premium domains lately n very broke oredi..unless i sell domains and get some money soon...My domain revenue is not out yet.Payout only in April 15th. Advices needed.I maybe a newbie and he is a senior domainer but i think i did my best to help.
Have any encountered such case before? :'( :'( :'(

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
it is odd that we have (all?) had this problem at one time or another pushing a name to another GD account. I eventually worked it out that the buyer did not go to checkout to complete the transaction and that is why it stayed in limbo.
Re refund, I would contact paypal before he does and explain that you do not want the risk of damage to your PP account rep. What would they advise can be your request. How much $$ is involved here?

Error

As said above. Godaddy does NOT make it clear that you need to continue to check out and process a $0.00 invoice.

I eventually worked it out that the buyer did not go to checkout to complete the transaction and that is why it stayed in limbo.

Wow, seems like a big issue here.

Either he didnt do his side or didnt check anything or they're was a mess up between the transaction.

But just word of advice, never spend the money until transaction is complete because stuff like this can happen.

As first i tot he din go tru the process but apparently he say he has been domainaing for very long oredi n accepted a lot domains before i spresume he know.. i tried to ask what he did but he is not willing to share n refuse to go on n just insisted on a refund.now thative called godaddy n make sure the problems are rectify..he is just one step away in getting the domain name but he refuse n keept insisting on a refund.

So he's still insisting on a refund?

If so, theres really only one thing to do is to refund him his money, if in some cases he's not happy. But make sure evertying is legit first.

•••
This seems to be more of a GD problem than yours. Maybe the guy has done some more research in the meantime and thinks he overpaid--that could be why he is so adamant for a refund...

I had some GoDaddy/Wild West push problems in the past, there were 2 times when 2 days past and the customer still didn't accept the push. When I E-mailed, the customer says he/she didn't get any E-mail from GoDaddy.

Usually the problem would go away if you initiate the push again.

well i am trying to push my domains for sale now trying to get 81 usd paypaypal funds in case of refunds..take it as a lesson to learn..sigh..

well than thats unfair to me.. he bought another 3char.com lower than mine by $5 just after he won my auction.so maybe he have had one 3 chardot com n trying to get a refund for this.

he emailed me few days later say there is some problem and ask me send a transfer request via godaddy again n i did.

i called godaddy they say some errors n they will help me rectify the problem n send him a final email n just one step , he need to accept the domain n it will be in his account.but he refused.

Not sure this belongs in "Domain Name Discussion", but either way, I don't see it as good business to bring your complete "personal" beef to the front here. In other words, it's somewhat "Bad form" to use his emails in your post, considering he hasn't done anything wrong (Either).
And no, I'm not "Hercules"

GoDaddy's E-mail was caught by my spam filter many times, particularly because they contain phrases like "Dear Valued Customer". This is definitely an issue. In the future GD should get rid of those rubbish and get to the point.

Why are there so many people involved? Who's joey iny..

It sounds to me like the buyer may be short on funds just by the way the demand is. *shrug* ... Over 81.00?? Wow... I wouldn't refund anything until you have the domain back in your account.

0
•••
Sounds like this guy had a case of buyer's remorse and did not want to buy it after he bought it. I've had a few transactions take quite awhile to get settled. GoDaddy is notorious for either not sending the mail to the buyer or sending it to their junk mail. But usually the person wants the domain, so it gets worked out. I guess you got caught in a bad situation, by no fault of your own, but the buyer should have took possession of the domain, not a refund. Hope you got your domain securely locked back in your account before you sent him the refund as there is nothing to stop him from grabbing the domain if it's still in pending transfers and the refund.
