Unofficial: Best Renewal of the Day Thread

With many of us dropping domains by the dozens (myself included), I thought it would be nice to have a thread showing the 'keepers', those domains that even in today's economy "made the cut" for some reason.

Today, I let twenty go and renewed just two.

INSIDETEEN.COM
HACK.TV

I only renewed the first gem because it gets a little traffic, plus I had $14 in my DynaDot account burning a whole in my virtual pocket.

I just renewed RealEst.org (actually, I transferred it which in effect does the same thing...adds one year to the expiration date) yesterday. :tu:

It's hard enough to confuse Real Est. with anything but real estate. Some real estate agents, companies and funds holding real estate properties use Real Est. as shorthand in their names. "Real Est" - Google Search

.org seems to be a better fit with real estate names than with many other industries/products names. Many websites of local "real estate boards" and listings sites use .org in their domain names... .org doesn't always need to be blaring "non-profit!!" as in this case, in fact some view it as giving a feeling of trust that other TLDs don't specifically.

This name shouldn't be a hard sell to an end user with a little work, with the millions of real estate agents out there. It could also easily be developed into a real estate buyer/seller information site. I like it! :p

Edit: Good idea for a thread by the way! We always see our fellow domainers bragging about the new names they've regged left and right, but seldom hear about how many of those names end up dropped and which end up deserving the fee to get renewed...
