Unknown Stream of Traffic to My Domains... Could It Be From Moniker?

Okay, so here's the thing:

I have some domains that never received any traffic. Among them are EIIE.info and FOUN.info. Now, I submitted them to moniker for their Australia domain auction. Is it to my belief -- correct me here if I'm wrong -- but I think they said that some of the domains that weren't accepted for it would be included in their next series of auctions (in January). Once I submitted my domains, I was told that I would receive an email from a moniker rep "within a few days" of submitting. It's been a few weeks and I have yet to hear back from them. I learned, though, that none of my domains were included in the Australia auction. That was that, I suppose.

But after looking over my domains at SEDO, I've noticed that these domains of mine -- the ones that never had any traffic in the countless months that I've owned them -- started to receive traffic. The traffic isn't much but FOUN.info has about 30 uniques already. And that domain never had even 1 visitor since I regged it. I put FOUN.info on my hosting account so I could check the referrer. The logs say that the visitors are all type-in's. (I've since put it back on SEDO parking)

Could anyone speculate as to where this traffic is coming from? I was thinking that perhaps my domains are in the next Moniker auction & ppl in-the-know are visiting the domains out of interest. But I really dunno. I've suspended the sales of most of my domains pending verification of my thoughts. I've emailed moniker awhile back and no replies yet. Has this happened to any of you? And do you know where I can see a listing of all accepted domains in the next auction (if there is such a list yet)?

I agree...
Moniker's customer service is horrible.

I have emailed them in the past, and I received nothing.

But if you email Snapnames, Moniker's partner, they reply adequetly.

Aside from that, assuming that traffic came from being listed in TRAFFIC...how in the heck did Foun.info make it?

Yes, I've noticed exactly this pattern of traffic after I submit names for Moniker/Traffic auctions...

...In one case, I had a parked domain (s*xystreaming (.) com) that went from about 10 uniques a month to 1300 per month - with a CTR of about 40%....!!....This lasted for about 6 months before, & after, I'd submitted the name for auction consideration.

...Didn't sell it - but the thing paid for its own rego for years with that little burst of activity....:)

I suspect it is not your English, Matrigaldo. The instructions are not easy for anyone to follow.

You go to moniker, click on a few links and submit... your English must really be bad for you to not comprehend how to submit.

Don't underestimate LLLL.info's. They sell for much higher than you think on SEDO/moniker etc. Just look through www.namebio.com for comparable sales.

Wow, I'll keep that in mind :) I'm a little afraid to sell my domains right now since they might have been accepted. But I suppose I'd sell if the price was right :)
