Hi Community,

as I'm new in domain investing, as I'm looking into future markets, i see Spanish in the Us and Global is Projected to grow, i have posted the highlights in next 20 years in US and Global, i was trying to find any discussions about it, haven't find any in the forums, i would like to hear your thoughts about it? Is Spanish domains a good investment?

- 2045 Projection: Total global Spanish speakers (including learners and second-language speakers) could exceed 750–800 million by 2045

- 520 million people speak Spanish as their mother tongue today, making it the second language in the world by number of native speakers

📈 2. SPANISH GROWING 3X FASTER THAN ENGLISH — ONLINE & OFF

- Spanish will likely be the second most spoken native language globally, as Hindi's growth may slow relative to Spanish's combined demographic and educational expansion.

-The combined Spanish-speaking global economy (including Spain, Latin America, and U.S. Latinos) will represent one of the top 3 economic blocs in the world by purchasing power

- By 2045, the global Spanish-speaking economy is projected to surpass $20 trillion.

-Right now: The U.S. Latino GDP has reached a historic $4 trillion, ranking as the 5th largest economy in the world if considered independently — growing over twice as fast as the rest of the U.S. between 2015 and 2023.

-2030: The U.S. Latino economy is projected to surpass Japan and Germany by the end of the decade.

-2035: U.S. Latino GDP projected at $6–8 trillion — equivalent to 3rd or 4th largest economy on Earth.

- 2045: U.S. Latino GDP could reasonably approach $10–12 trillion in nominal terms, potentially rivaling or surpassing
Germany's entire national GDP.

-Latinos accounted for 78% of all new U.S. workers between 2020 and 2030

- 🇺🇸 U.S. SPANISH SPEAKERS: 138 MILLION BY 2045–2050

- By 2050, 67% of the Hispanic population will be U.S.-born — meaning growth is organic, not just immigration-driven.

- By 2030, an estimated 7.5% of the entire world population will understand Spanish.

-

- 🇪🇸 1. SPAIN = EU'S #1 FASTEST-GROWING MAJOR ECONOMY

3. SPANISH SPEAKERS MAKE BUYING DECISIONS IN SPANISH — THE MASSIVE AD GAP

This is the single biggest commercial opportunity hiding in plain sight:

  • Despite making up 18.7% of the US population, Hispanic consumers receive only 6% of total US advertising investment — per the Hispanic Marketing Council.
  • Of 1,900 brands that advertise on TV today, only 500 advertise on Spanish-language TV — meaning 1,400 brands are completely ignoring a $4 trillion economy.
  • 88% of US Hispanics say they appreciate businesses that engage with them in Spanish, and 87% agree that businesses that invest in their communities deserve their loyalty.
  • McKinsey & Company found approximately $159 billion in unsatisfied demand among Latinos because many would spend more on offerings better suited to their needs.
  • Advertising to Hispanics in Spanish is 4.5x more persuasive than English-language ads.
  • 65% of consumers prefer content in their own language. 40% say they will not buy products presented in a foreign language.

USA

- US will have 138 million Spanish speakers by 2050, making it the biggest Spanish-speaking nation on Earth

- 1/3 Americans will speak Spanish

- Us Latino Economy is projected to be 10 - 12 Trillion (as a separate economy 3rd biggest in the world)

- us Latinos accounted 78% of all new workers between 2020 and 2030

- Hispanic real consumption grew more than three times faster from 2010 to 2020 then non Hispanic

Global Spanish Speaking Economy by 2045

- Global Spanish Speaking economy to reach 20 Trillion (bigger then us economy size in 2010, and as big as China's economy is today)

- Global Spanish speakers to reach 750M -850M

- by 2050, Spanish is expected to surpass English in total native speakers

my Question is?

1. is it worth investing in Domains for 20 years from now, with AI and tech moving fast, will domains still be like it is today?

2. Will US and Global companies need Spanish domains? or they will use English domains with AI translators?

3. Will Premium Prices only be in English as the business laungauge? or demand from 20 Trillion economy will increase domain values?
