Has anyone used undeveloped.com to sell domains? They claim to be able to increase a domainers sales by 54%.

So is Transferwise kind of like a bank account ? I just opened my account today, as I like to have as many options as possible.

Does UnD put your money there and then you withdraw with a TW mastercard or do you have to then forward it elsewhere ?

Any info would be appreciated.

Hi really we are talking about three services:

1) Straight currency exchange/transfer at way better rates than banks - sender sends from their bank to yours via Transferwise.

2) Virtual bank accounts in currency of your choice. You pay well under 1% exchange rate to move money from one currency account to another and can move it to your own real bank account as a straight transfer, each transfer costs a tiny fee (under $1 USD). These are bank accounts, they may be insured, unlike the above transfer service. You can have people pay invoices to these accounts.

3) Optional debit card on above virtual currency accounts.

Saved me mid xxx on one transfer in USD, didn't have to accept being wired funds in GBP at forced exchange rate - instead I received an ACH payment in USD.

Bank transfers within EU are essentially free, similar to ACH, so a Euro account should be easy for Undev to send to.

My First and last Sale on undeveloped.com - finally i got payed after many messages, email and posts here via PayPal and undeveloped charged me $131.04 which is 4% on top of their 9 % fee.

I been selling domains on Sedo.com for over 12 years with no problems using PayPal and can receive payments up to 10,000 us with no fees of any kind.

Are you really comparing SEDO to Undeveloped? The company with the worst customer service and outrageous fees which hasn't done anything new in the last 10 years?

Undeveloped isn't perfect and the Paypal limit should be on their FAQ. At the same time, you're doing a self inflicted wound by sticking to one single form of payment when multiple reasonable and cheap methods are on the table. Domaining is also about learning and being curious, and I'm sure others here jumped on the alternatives such as Transferwise when they read about them.

It really gives the impression that you're stuck in time and enjoys complaining.

I have used it as a straight wire transfer and had the money the next day every time. Compare that to Escrow which took an ungodly 13 days after supposedly sending to hit my account. I don’t use the account feature just the wire feature.

We hear you guys, as always . First, we're implementing Payoneer (that's already planned) and after that, we could also integrate Transferwise as an automated option.

As you know, we'd love to be flexible in how we work with you guys but we can't change our processes constantly based on individual requests.

I use Sedo last 10 years... my primary escrow (3% / min. 60 USD/EUR).
Never had any issues and complaints on their customer service.
Even tomorrow I will start my next 4F sale via Sedo escrow... waiting for buyer's username...

Can't say anything about their parking/marketplace.

If 2000 is the limit, would it be possible to split payouts into series? E. g. 10k total results in 5 payments of 2k each.

Having said this, on the 18th of June we're launching our new platform. We've built parts of the new marketplace (the blockchain) in partnership with IBM (the oldest tech company in the world!). IBM has also created a case study of our new platform which will be published on our launch date.

This partnership but also other improvements we're launching will tackle some of the problems you raise.

Thanks to Undeveloped, my $10k external sale via them failed as their staff told to the buyer that my domain is listed on Undeveloped as make offer with starting offer $5k and as result buyer cancelled deal..anyway few months later I sold that name for $20k (obviously not via Undeveloped) to another buyer so thanks to Undeveloped for failed sale!
