Has anyone used undeveloped.com to sell domains? They claim to be able to increase a domainers sales by 54%.
I have been using Payoneer for years and also have their ATM. They are good though their support isnt. Undeveloped does really take all the necessary steps to make payment to the sellers so I am sure Tiki, being in Canada too, can find another way to actually get paid. Also they are not a bank so your money with them is not insured. I don't expect Transferwise to go bankrupt but I read some accounts of people sending large sums and experiencing delays - that would be scary.
Come to think of it, Paypal is probably not insured.
Using Transferwise or similar might be a solution.
Also, when you start to receive larger payments through Paypal, Paypal normally want to re-verify you, or if you go over whatever the annual receiving threshold is for your country.
Selling a domain in installments on Undev would also be a way to keep each payment under 2k.
Its good you can do transferwise. Don't you think adding it to your payout option is better ? So sellers can select it permanently. ThanksHi Carob,
We already support Transferwise (without any limit). Just request it from your escrow agent and we'll process it.
All sellers that realize how flexible we can be, benefit greatly from Undeveloped. You can ask for anything, if we can make it happen, we're very facilitating.
Also, keep in mind we can offer our competitive escrow fee for a reason. We can offer unlimited Paypal payouts, but then you have to pay for the extra fees.
So even today, we can process a $100k payout via Paypal, but the seller has to pay for the conversion fees etc if that's prefered.
Lastly, as far as I know, we're the only escrow party that covers the Paypal payout fees. To be able to offer this we simply have to have a fair use policy in place.
Kind regards,
Reza

If 2000 is the limit, would it be possible to split payouts into series? E. g. 10k total results in 5 payments of 2k each.So even today, we can process a $100k payout via Paypal, but the seller has to pay for the conversion fees etc if that's prefered.
Good to know. I'll be switching back to afternic from undeveloped as soon as possible.
You're doing a wonderful job and we really appreciate all the improvements. We hear you guys, as always . First, we're implementing Payoneer (that's already planned) and after that, we could also integrate Transferwise as an automated option.
As you know, we'd love to be flexible in how we work with you guys but we can't change our processes constantly based on individual requests.
Kind regards,
Reza
There is no where on your site that shows you only payout 2000 if there was I would never have opened an account at undeveloped.com, you owe me $3600!!Hi Tiki,
When you sign-up to a service or marketplace, you are bound by the policy of that company. We have good reasons to set a limit on the payout options that we offer. Our policy changes frequently and the Paypal payout limit might increase in the near future.
Our support team informed you about the limit when you requested it and directly suggested many alternative payout options to resolve your problem. If you truly want to resolve the problem you're facing, I'd suggest finding an alternative way to receive your payout. Complaining here (like you informed us you would) won't force us to change our policy just for you.
Kind regards,
Reza

Sedo uses Commerzbank for wires...I get paid through bank wire, I get charged $25 on every transaction by intermediary bank Undeveloped uses which effectively means i lose extra 10% on any deal that is around $250.
So is Transferwise kind of like a bank account ? I just opened my account today, as I like to have as many options as possible.
Does UnD put your money there and then you withdraw with a TW mastercard or do you have to then forward it elsewhere ?
Any info would be appreciated.

I been selling domains on Sedo.com for over 12 years with no problems using PayPal and can receive payments up to 10,000 us with no fees of any kind.
I couldn't have said it better.Undeveloped isn't perfect and the Paypal limit should be on their FAQ. At the same time, you're doing a self inflicted wound by sticking to one single form of payment when multiple reasonable and cheap methods are on the table. Domaining is also about learning and being curious, and I'm sure others here jumped on the alternatives such as Transferwise when they read about them.
