Has anyone used undeveloped.com to sell domains? They claim to be able to increase a domainers sales by 54%.

The same should apply to all and don't forget to opt out of lock. An email will be sent to you on that. I guess you are dealing with godaddy.
Just follow UD instructions and you will be fine
yes, domain is in godaddy..

Mine is working fine. Has any of you used a filter that ignore visits with less than 00.00.00 duration and 100% bounce rate? That could solve the problem.
Recently, I noticed "duration" rarely count irrespective of the length of time you stay on the landing page, and your bounce rate will remain 100%
With that, whoever filter such info won't see any visits.
I have discussed this with Undeveloped, but seem they didn't get my point

sorry if I missed this talk before..
but can someone confirm how accurate and if including bot etc are the per month stats displayed on sale landers?

I decided to turn it on today and wanted to confirm the precision of this option.. or lack thereof.

I apologize if this has been covered and I missed it (this is getting to be a long thread!) but one thing I have wondered about is why Undeveloped do their graphs of domain visits (for those who have them turned on) the way they do. For example when it is a plot of visits per month, they seem to do it by calendar month so in the early days of each month they go way down, and then pick up by the end of each month. This gives a deceptive impression to end users that visits to the name have suddenly dropped off when in fact the visits per day may be completely constant. Would it not be simple to do something like plot the average for the last 30 days as the value? Just a thought. Thanks for a superb platform with wonderful landers.

Bob

Hi Bob,

Thank you for the feedback, we see that effect at all analytics providers because we want to show 100% accurate traffic stats working with average visits might give end-users a wrong impression.

I've made a note of your feedback for our product team.

When will be possible to set BTC as Preferred payout method ?

Soon but at the moment feel free to submit your BTC wallet address as your Paypal address and simply notify your escrow agent to perform a BTC payout upon a sale.

As I know, as of today BTC payout can be processed only per your request to UD team... and regardless of buyer's method.

That's correct, regardless of the buyer's payment source a payout in BTC is always available.

I just sold a domain name at undeveloped and got a message from ud support to change admin email to ud escrow email. Its my first time, so I wanted to know should I change the email in just administrative contact or in all the four sections of registrant, administrative, technical and billing?

Indeed, please only change the administrative contact email Wali so the domain doesn't get locked for 60 days.

If there's one thing that aggravates buyers, it's not being able to transfer the domain to their main registrar. So we're trying to avoid that as much as possible.

Anybody else seeing there visit stats stopped again ?

Hi Jimbo,

We're not aware of any issues on that front. We have a couple of dummy account where we check if the stats populate and for our own accounts we see no issues.

Are you sure there's an issue and not a delay?

Hi Alcy,

We have multiple libraries in place that are updated daily which we use to filter bot traffic. However, that doesn't mean that we can zone out 100% of bot traffic since they change their tactics rapidly so it's a cat and mouse game that's being played out atm by the bot network operators and filtering companies.

Kind regards,

Reza

I sold a domain yesterday at Undeveloped.com and i was looking forward to a swift transaction.
This was my first sale at Undeveloped and what i realized was, the experience at Undeveloped could be more user friendly and optimized, if you had a real-time chat option, where we could have all the details of escrow sorted out over a few mins of conversation, instead of the hours of waiting, for the escrow agent's response, that comes with the current experience.

On a lighter note, you should thank your lucky stars you didnt had a sale on a weekend like me.

On another lighter note, you should thank your lucky stars you didnt had a sale on any other marketplace where "the hours of waiting" are actually days and once you push or transfer the domain you'll wait weeks to get paid. All these for 20%-25% commission, not 9% as in UD's case.

The UD guys are a bunch of hard working people, not only they deal with the transfers but also chase the late-payers via email and phone trying to close deals when the buyers are unresponsive once they click the BIN button or accept the offer. This takes time and I reckon they're extremely busy. While every seller wants to close the deal fast and get paid asap, most people actually live in La-La Land and expect the UD guys to handle the transfer, verify the payment and issue the money in ten minutes and also to offer 24/7 support (via chat 'cause email is apparently too slow for some) to Mr Doe Domainer who can't wait till Monday to close his $299 sale on Sunday. Unrealistic imo...

As for weekends, we have to understand that UD just don't have the numbers to handle Sat & Sun support. I think they're just about 5-6 guys alltogether. It's still a startup and it will take time for them to grow at Sedo's or GD's levels. Plus in Europe, weekend is weekend, you know... no weekend support, no biggie imo... However if you'd be about to close a six or seven figures sale on a Saturday I'm sure Reza can change his schedule :)

Give it a week or two and you'll be surprised ;)

Undeveloped.com is running really well at the moment. Helped a lot for making my sales happen, particularly impressed with Laszlo
Timely response, even helped me close deals.

lots of problems with GD...
afternic, not too bad.

With undev (200+ domains sold), i tried many pricing strategies but i have to continue to test... it seems that on GD or afternic i could sell higher.

Could you tell us @Undeveloped what you'll improve ?

there cant really be a logical connection btw sale lander type and final sale price..however..there could be illogical ones

with afternic, i always sell at bin, with undeveloped i rarely sell at bin if i let the make offer.
And maybe the godaddy appraisal price near to the bin on afternic could help selling higher.

You need to google, "on a lighter note". I never criticised nor complained against UD. I agree they are far better than the lot, in terms of everything. I was just replying to @Innoverge as he couldnt waited for some hours, so I was wondering how would he had reacted if he had to wait for a day. Like everyone else I love weekends and even with a seven figure sale of some PRO, UD staff shouldnt be ruining their weekend schedule.

PS: it was 399$ sale!
