Has anyone used undeveloped.com to sell domains? They claim to be able to increase a domainers sales by 54%.

I think this fix was posted in this thread (or another Undev. related thread) awhile back. I know I saw it on NP because I had that problem and it was fixed after that. (y)

@alcy does your non-hosted at Undeveloped domain now show as Parked in your Dashboard, or is it still greyed out?

Hmm... actually, the P denotes using For Sale pages rather than being parked so I'm confused. :xf.eek: :xf.confused:

I think it is a matter of new features being added and the marketplace evolving - and someone not thinking to change the code or realizing this side effect. It isn't detrimental in any way.

But it does appear as if this is a "bug" or a situation of not educating the user about the different consequences of that check mark being on or off.

Edited for grammar

Excactly, they should just add explanation about this in checkbox label.

I wanted to sort the domains by the parking parameter, and I noticed that there was no such possibility. It would be useful to know which domains are not parked

@Undeveloped

so whats the deal with the landers not being same (domain searchbar on top etc) when we redirect to you via url.. versus doing a dns change?

I mean, can you officially say that you do this cause its technologically not feasible to have same landers in both cases? or do you do this to just get more folk to change their dns to yours cause u somehow benefit from it?

why not just make it simple for all your clinets.. and let them have same lander no matter if they wanna url to you or dns to you.

for some people its just much easier to redirect. why should they be penalized by seeing that stupid domain search bar on top of lander if they do this?

Because a parking page from a product perspective is not the same as an internal product page which you land on via search for example.

The entire user experience is also different based on how you land on one of those pages. So it has absolutely nothing to do with penalizing sellers, it's just proper product design.

thanks.
you must also have your dns set to undeveloped then.

Hi Alcy,

We don't have any logic in place that adds or removes the search bar based on if the domain is parked with us or not. The way you navigate to the for sale page determines if the search bar is shown or not.

Kind regards,
Reza

Hi Reza,

When will we have $ / โ‚ฌ / ยฃ options for corresponding domains covering the U.S. / European / British markets? (instead of having 1 default currency for ALL extensions)

We've solved that problem in a more intuitive manner. We already support showing the local currency in almost all countries in the world. So a Chinese buyer that lands on a USD/EUR or GBP price will see the equivalent in RMB already directly on the for sale page.

See for example the EUR conversion rate I see because I visit a USD listing from Europe:

Once implemented, this will be a gorgeous, functional, and innovative integration of blockchain technology. This isn't shoehorned - it's effective. Really looking forward to future disclosures on this project.

Fantastic stuff, Reza.

It sounds great. I especially like the rental aspect and being able to sell or buy parts of a domain portfolio.

But I have to admit I don't understand some of the technical stuff. When we talk instant transfers, is that if Undeveloped becomes a registrar or already with today's registrars?

Hi Loredan,

I don't see VAT as additional charges since it's not going to us but the tax agency. We only charge VAT on top of our commission if both the seller as Undeveloped have to by law. And that happens only in some specific cases for European sellers.

Our system is designed to charge the correct VAT based on the information you supply us and the information that we have from the buyer.

Here are some of the VAT rule logics:

1: If you're a non-business seller from EU we have to charge VAT
2: If you're a business seller from EU and supply a valid VAT number we don't charge VAT
3: If you're a non-business or business seller outside of EU you never pay VAT

Again, only if we by law have to collect VAT as in example #1 we do.

Thanks for helping me clarify this,

Reza

So I assume the vat element would not apply to bitcoin or any other crypto ?

Hi Noonoo,

The VAT element is now determined by the seller. We've built extensive VAT preference settings so you the seller can decide exactly how VAT is treated:

It depends on some variables but in essence, instant transfers will work already with Today's registrars that don't build in unnecessary and draconic lock-ins.

Instant transfers are also TLD dependant, for some TLD's like .co.uk we won't offer instant transfers from day one.

@Undeveloped

Profile and domain names are sent to you as PM

I had informed several times to support team that my payout should be in EUR currency and not USD as bank I have added is of Payoneer and they accept only EUR payment, but never received any confirmation or acknowledgement for this.

Please look into this matter urgently.

Awaiting your reply,
Hooda

Have you set your domain pricing to be in Euro?

Edit: Incorrectly typed How instead of have above
