I have a client who is in the market for a brand name for a network router that is ultra-secure.

As context, many routers these days are compromised either due to bad configuration, or due to back doors for used in intelligence gathering. This renders a user's data and network perpetually vulnerable .

As a solution, a new generation of router has been developed to fix this issue. It combines an ultra-secure router made in the USA, with an industrial strength Virtual Private Network (VPN).

The proposed online brand will be used for a website to explain the benefits of the router, and to help customers order and configure their custom router so that it arrives plug and play.

The brand name should convey security and reliability. The brand name can be 1-2 words but should be not more than 13 characters length. It should be a .COM. The purchase will be made in the next 1-2 days.

Budget is up to $20,000.

I think we got our winner on this one -- ShieldRouter.com was #1.

A number of folks there like GhostRouter.com more. We'll make a final decision in the next 24 hours but just wanted to thank folks for submitting some worthy candidates.

In general, I believe this category is going to see some activity as more and more folks realize the vulnerabilities that exist in the existing routers and related networking protocols.

It's a shame AnonRouter took 2nd place But ShieldRouter is a fresh reg, so I wouldn't have recommended it regardless. Maybe I should start opening up to better recommendations regardless of domain date. Still, congrats to the buyer!
