If you are targeting a site for typo traffic,
and it has an alexa of less than 1000, do you ever consider any numbers as part of the typo?

For Example Only: tr8ck.com for truck.com

Wouldn't that be Track.com, not Truck.com??

And no I would not do that, that is a huge typo, that most wouldn't make, IMHO.

many names in top 1000 do not get type-in traffic

I think tr7ck.com would be the correct number typo for truck.com
Normally the u is typed with the right index finger , if missed it would hit the 7 not the 8.
