Typos, don't you just love em!

just noticed one of my typos names has just got a pr5 in the latest pagerank update

ive never made any backlinks for it at all as its a typo just there to get typo traffic, so i checked the backlinks and yep there is one

and guess where its from, its from the site that its a typo of :hehe:

i couldnt stop laughing that the webmaster of the actual site has obviously made the typo himself when creating internal links!

im not complaining about the extra traffic/revenue either!

you gotta love a good typo

That is pretty amazing, funny too. Hopefully the site owner doesn't notice the error for awhile. I would think it's pretty easy to spot if you pay any attention to your site stats.

tbh i think the pr will stay but even if it doesnt im not bothered in the slightest

the name is a typo and its not like im developing it, just counting the cash it produces

I had a huge bump in traffic/clicks that lasted for 3 mos and than went down normal levels. Sweet while it lasted. It wasn't a typo but, I wonder if it was a link foul up. Besides an internal link typo,<- (haha!) like yours, irishmat, another windfall that I've had was w/ a 2 word .com I had that had the same two words as a new subdomain a big site had created to run a promotion from. I got 4 mos of ppc bliss from that one. I didn't create the subdomain and apparently people found my directory page useful because I was getting a 50%-55% click rate, so I never felt like I had to cop a guilty feeling over my good fortune, although, it wasn't exactly what the other outfit had in mind.. :bingo:
It's nice when the fat cats drop a few crumbs down to the boys and girls.

lol , sounds funny first time i heard of something like that about typos , and yes it is possible evry one does typos , 2 to 10 times aday lol , but about the pr , i dont know if it will stay or not depend on what will happend after the pr updates good luck bro
