.mobi Typo traffic on .mobi names

How many of you do typo traffic? Key terms and how much traffic does site get and do people click on the ads?


Its amazing how they big time buyers buy big on Mobi names and they don't even rig typo names. Ref I am talking generic key words not trade mark names.

Flowers.mobi didn't have typo registered really. For the record I don't own any and like what Rick is up to and read his Blog. Never met the man, don't want to get on the bad side of one of the big guys.

Todays recent purchase or yesterday shocked me. I rigged the name pretty well on my blackberry as I was having a coffee. My first purchase on typo. So I am curious on mobi buyers if they have success with this.

I got burned on this a few years ago and it killed me. Guess its my turn today and the hood way of looking at this is I am offering a service and what the customer wants with info and info they orginally they tried going too. We shall see.

This will probably be my only typo but wanted experiment on this and my domain sales rep seemed shocked some.

My advice: Don't buy typos. Go out and find yourself some good names on the resale market. The prices are still reasonable, and the better names you have when .mobi takes off the happier you will be.

I have A FEW typos myself, but I'm not investing in any more. Go for the real thing!!!
