Typo domains still work?

folks,

do still typo domains still can make money?
coz no body now type a domain name in full in the address bar.
when they hit the first or second letter, the address bar drop down simply shows the name and the user select it. also users put the websites they often visit in to the bookmark toolbar.
so with these facilities, i am asking still a typo domain name can bring visitors?

most of my domains get type in traffic, it's just a matter of some getting a few hits a month and others getting hundreds a month, on a whole domain parking revenue is down but I still see $1-$12 clicks here and there and an occasional higher one, the generic .com domains with high google searches see the best traffic, I can type full addresses in the bar without any drop downs, on typo domains I don't get any drop downs from the address bar but in the search box I do, typo traffic would come straight from the address bar and not the search box as they already know what they are looking for they just don't spell it right, bookmarks would reduce some though yes.

yeah I'm more of a generic keyword .com guy but I do have a couple typos that do pretty good but I also wouldn't mind hearing from others.

For lawyers, yes they can.

There are generic typos too, but in general typos are less and less worthy to register, let alone buying them for multiples. I dropped many typos that used to make $30-$50 per year, because last year they were doing peanuts.

I have a generic typo that does make money. Not a lot mind you, but profit is profit.

I have an FX typo that used to get 5$ clicks. But now for the same terms, it gets 50c-$1 max.
