Its become more clear everyday that .tv will not likely be the speculative cash cow that many are hoping for. Its a great domain - for endusers and marketers. But for domainers confusion is still endemic. Even just the few legacy premiums left will have a tremendous dampening effect on account of the confusion they create. The new upfront premium pricing, even if non-recurring, will take a good chunk of the potential ROI before leaving the starting gate since a lot of formerly non-premiums will wind up having premium fees.

There's going to be some profit for some domainers but probably not nearly as much as could be earned in longtail .com's. Be careful out there.
