.tv TV.eu names - Renew or forget - Advice request

I have a small dilemma

There are 100 geo TV.eu names that I am wondering whether to renew or dump.

They include names like

xxtv.eu
xxtv.eu
xxtv.eu
xxtv.eu
xxtv.eu

etc

Would you renew or forget they ever existed?

Your views would be appreciated as I am on a big renewal day.

Personally i'd drop them.
I cant see many buyers wanting them, if they did want a 'Geo TV' name then there is many other choices that would be preffered above the Geotv.eu

The names actually include GlasgowTV.eu and EdinburghTV.eu

If I renew 100 then it works out at around $7 per name.

Surely its worth a go - or is the economy and the .eu name so pointless for tv names

The "tv" at the end of each word kills these names. IMO.

I would go ahead and delete these from your account. Then you can focus on important matters and no longer have this issue to cause yourself concern.

Jimbo I've a couple of countrytv.eu names myself and will drop them and would advice to do the same.

Especially with your portfolio of absolute top names, these ones are not worth to waste your time on.

Thanks guys for all the advice. It was a small dilemma - but its the little problems that tend to cause the biggest headaches.

I'll keep the best ten and scrub the rest from existence.

Who knows, I could use the renewal money to buy a decent .TV!!!

I think the concensus is that you drop these Jimbo. Unless you have a plan to use these yourself I cannot see anyone taking them off your hands.

As much as i would like a 'Glasgow TV' or 'edinburgh tv ' i'd still drop them all.
If i personally was looking for a Geo then id pick geotv.com, geotv.tv & geotv.co.uk all before geotv.eu

Only way id keep them is if you could use them to develop or as part of a larger development network but for resell then there is far too many options of similar/better Geo domains to make them valuable. IMHO

Jimbo, I had the same consideration before.

I dropped about 20 "keword"TV.cn few weeks ago. I still think I made a good decision. IMO, those names are good, but we will need at least 3-5 years untill we can really use or sell them. For me currently, as you also suggested, it's more important to focus on site development.

tv.eu I would drop. tv.com will be a homerun, imo Yahoo and Intel are bringing the internet to your living room soon.

I am a huge fan of "keywordtv" domains, I think they would work in every extension.
I've got a few xxxxxtv.tv that get decent traffic. And there are quite a few established website with the xxxxtv.tv.

I think we had this debate exactly 1 year ago, some love "the keyword tv", some don't...

Anyway, to get back to the xxxxxtv.eu, the .eu is still a young extension in my eyes, and it's not by far globally known yet.

If you have a 100 to renew, I would only renew the 10 best ones. And invest the other $630 (if it's $7/domain to renew) or whatever amount in another premium .tv .

I have decided to drop the lot - tv.eu is not a good route when I have other names to consider and build.

I have quite a few more than the 100 I said so I presume I am about to pressure what ever market there was in geoTV.eu into freefall by flooding the market.
