General Requirements :

The logo is for a luxury, 5 * provider of seven timber-built lodges in Carlisle Cumbria.

We want our logo to include an otter (particularly the outline of one).

The logo MUST be white and be transparent as it will be used on a dark background.

An example of where the logo will be used will be on the template santorini(please google for a live demo, you can find it on themeforest).

The logo should include the name of the business: The Tranquil Otter (and it should have 5 stars in the logo)

Ideally the logo will be stacked as follows:

The Tranquil Otter
Outline of otter
5 stars

Yes just the outline. Probably best to create it against a dark background to get a real feel for it.
Have a look at a video of how an otter moves, it flows up and down. This is important in the logo.
There should also be FIVE stars under the otter.

Firstly please use spaces in between the name.

Also the picture of the otter doesn't look like an otter, more like a dog.

the otter needs to look something more like a curve to represent how it moves.

Please also change lodges in carlisle cumbra to Luxury 5* Lodges

This is a really difficult logo.

It will be a white transparent logo against a background image of woodlands, a lake, a sky and other abstract material.

The name is The Tranquil Otter (with spaces)

Please review the logo. It needs to be much smaller in all entries. Please use a curve line of an otter and place the otter underneath the wording, not above. The stars MUST go below the logo also, not above or above and bottom.

The tail on the otter is a little too long. Also you need to reduce the size of the logo. Please look at the template we will be using and at the example logo. This is the size it needs to be.

The structure of the logo is as follows:

The Tranquil Otter

outline (line to show curve?) - small, quick and brief - doesn't need to be a full picture of an otter

five stars

I think all submissions show a full otter, I only want a small outline/line to show the otter, possibly the head. We don't have much space to play with. All logos so far have been too big.

Size should be 160x164
