Transferring Expired domain with DomainsByProxy Email on WHOIS?

OK, so I let a domain on GoDaddy expire accidentally and now it's in Recoverable status. (so I can transfer out)

Problem is, when requesting AUTH code, it's sending the code to the DomainsByProxy privacy email which I have no access to.

Any simple solution?

Well you do.. DomainByProxy is accessible with your GD Username / Pass
just disable the proxy.. you're good to go...

Can't disable it when it's in 'Recoverable' status.

It only gives me the option to request auth code or renew it with $80 redemption fee.

Unless there's another way to disable it that I'm not aware of.

hmm you missed the Grace Period..

now either you pay the $80 redemption fee + renewals or they'll auction it off.. if it's a good domain, then ask them whether they can reduce the Redemption Fee.. at times I was offered 50% off of the redemption fee..

Just try.. it might work.

Try the "export list" function in domain management to download auth codes.
However, it might be required for DBP to be disabled to complete a transfer.
