Transferring away from GoDaddy

I'm new to this forum and wanted some advice on transferring a number of .com and .co domains away from godaddy.

I was looking at namecheap or a simple alternative.

I want to save money with the transfer and move to a registrar that is simple and friendly to use.

Any tips, codes or promo suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
