I transfered many of my domains to NameCheap back in July and also prior, whenever it was they had their big discount promotion(s).
When I checked out, I was very careful about opting OUT from WhoisGuard Protection. Fast-forward to just a few days ago when upon reviewing my NameCheap domains in the control panel, to my dismay I discovered that ALL (minus one!) my domains were being hidden by WhoisGuard! (30+ domains).
Today I opened a ticket and now have just been informed by NameCheap support that due to a "bug in their system" it is indeed the case that all these domains are currently disguised by WhoisGuard. They are working to fix the bug (you know the drill) and have offered to correct the Whois contacts, but I am posting this to give fair warning to those who may be unawares as I have been until now.
