Welp, it looks like I will be ditching another registrar.
I started using Namecheap after I realized GoCrappy was a rip-off, now, namecheap is censoring comments calling them out, a very CHEAP move indeed.
They recently announced a move from whoisgaurd to a never before heard company because "they are more private" However this company was opened a few weeks before their announcement, so I asked questions in the blog comments (https://www.namecheap.com/blog/domain-privacy-is-changing-at-namecheap/)
& they were too scared to answer so they trashed my comment and only answered to a praising comment.
Just an FYI the website went live today but it still doesn't change anything.
Not mentioning the additional ICANN fee until checkout was already a cheap play, now this move makes me trust them even less. I will start moving domains, starting NOW.

And who exactly is behind Withheld for Privacy? https://withheldforprivacy.com/ They ironically use WhoisGuard on their domain and their coming soon page has a generic under maintenance clip art with the text: "Commind soon" Not even spelled correctly. Seems pretty sus if you ask me.
