Traffic stats

Can someone please explain about traffic stats, how you find them out for a domain you own, etc etc.

I havent bothered parking it because i just want to sell it. So i guess without that i wont know the stats? A buyer wants to know thats all.

Yeah, the names would have to be parked somewhere so you can keep track of what's going on... which is something a parking service might do.

If you had it hosted with cPanel then you would have AWStats. But if it was just a blank page (Not hosted/nothing) then I'm not sure you'd have any stats logged.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong!

You could use statcounter or other site traffic monitoring programs and place the code on your site to track traffic. Stat counter also has an option to show your visitors the site stats.

Yes... GA too is in the same league, but the stats are a bit too complicated. It takes quite some time getting used to the various Google parameters. Stat Counter is simple to use and the stats are easy to read and comprehend. One stat is good too.

If you don't have the domain parked you could throw up a simple 1 page site on a cpanel hosting account for a month and then check your stats and show him what you have logged for the month or park it for a month and then you can show visitors and any income it made from the pay per click ads.
