I used to only check for US trademarks when registering brandables. Can anyone tell which countries trademarks are usually come under wipo disputes? Now I only check trademarks in wipo global search, is it enough?

That's a tricy question but, as far as the logic goes, WIPO can NOT and probably DOESN'T favor trademarks from one particular country over those in others.
It may be just that people outside US and few European countries are not aware enough of such a domain dispute body whereas people in the US file disputes / claims / lawsuits at drop of a hat. The kind of excessive litigation the US has is perhaps unparalleled anywhere else in the world !! So, that's why, IMO.
