Trademark domain

Hello everyone ,

Can i register trademark domain ? Is there any risk registering trademark domain name ? When I tried to register one there was a trademark warning appeared on registration page.

Do not count on making any $ with trade marks. You would be better off finding normal names and avoiding all the headaches that come with trade marks.

As Domain Lead Finder pointed out it is simply not worth it since you will just get into some legal issues and the time and money spend will be wasted. I remember having some success in the past with trademarks and feeding off their popularity but then having the company reach out to me to take over my site and to pay a fee for profiting off their brand.

Learn the ropes and get educated on NamePros forum and any other source you can find and start buying the right names. This is a better approach and will save you a huge learning curve as well as a lot of time.

depends on a few factors, e.g. trademark classes, countries etc... but yeah, best to stay away unless you know exactly what you're doing.

Depends... If it is a word like starbucks, honda, nike, knicks, definitely stay away, your intent will be suspect from the start.

But if it is more generic everyday word, it is more like your gamble to take.

There was an Australian company that in my opinion pulled a big time blatant squatting 3-4 years ago but got away with it.
