Tracking traffic from forwarded domain

Is there a way to track how much traffic is coming through a forwarded domain? I have a domain that is forwarding all traffic to one of my developed webpages but am unable to see in Awstats any traffic from that domain.

Any ideas on what I can do to monitor how much traffic is coming from the forwarded domain?

Thanks.

yes use a counter on that doamin's index.html page and have a meta refresh to the domain you want to go to.
Alternatle get a better tracer and install it on your server.

Well, how are they forwarded, by register or by server side?
if its server side, and it has an actuall account, and your redirecting it, you can check the domains stats on the server, if not, I have no clue, sorry to have wasted your time. ;)

I have gone to forwarding from a server. This way is much faster than forwarding the domain through non-hosting via godaddy. I still have to see if awstats will show up from the forwarded domain now.

not try to off the topic, but my question is: why would you want to forward to a developed site? You could host this page, and link it to your developed site and gaining at least one extra link.
