Hey guys,
I have recently contacted Flippa brokerage plus a few other brokering individuals yet nobody has answered.
Do you think I will be able to get any broker on board, since I now can't afford the risk of selling the site myself?

The domain is marginal at best. In addition, you only registered it a few days ago. Not nearly worth a broker spending time with, imo. Also, I'm not sure what you mean about the risk of selling it yourself? Trying to find an end user and selling it yourself would probably be your best bet.

Also, I don't see a site connected to the domain, as you mentioned 'site'.

That being said, best of luck and welcome to Namepros.

Thanks for all the responses.

Since my domain has been referred to as awkward, I now add a pitch.

I welcome all comments, like on the pitch itself, so on the domain value considering the pitch, if you think I managed to uplift it a little.

Pitch:

Tourism is an important, even vital, source of income for many regions and countries.
Tourists bring large amounts of income into a local economy in the form of payment for goods and services needed by them, accounting for 30% of the world's trade of services, and 6% of overall exports of goods and services.

There has been an up-trend in tourism over the last few decades, making it one of the most stable bussines around!

Putting themselves in unfamiliar places and situations, surrounded by many new things and mysteries, tourists need to have an access to information, and guidance to get them trough these situations.

Do you want to have one of the best brands in the tourism business?

Get people, who love to take a break and travel to interesting locations all around the world informed about easiest ways to travel, most popular hotel places, the best local food, interesting activities and entertainment and way more... Get involved in booking the best flights and hotels for your customers and let your wesite be the gateway for people all around the world to your prominent travel agency.

Keep your visitors and customers updated on all thats taking place around them.

Be a patron of all travelers.

Get an amazing opportunity to earn money promoting companies all around the world and expose those, that do scams.

..................................................................................................................................................................................

What I personally feel from guidance over a guide is that a GUIDE is something you get (piece of paper maybe) that is unresponsive, not lasting, one way ticket... where as GUIDANCE is something you are getting, may be more personalized, consistent, something that not only informs you but protects you all the way.

TOUR is then also one way thing, where as someone is considered a TOURIST if he/she travels. That includes traveling more constantly and therefore someone you can build a bussines on.

TouristGuidance then is a brand.
Take TouristGuideABC for example. Where as TouristGuide is very general and leaves everybody clueless, that you are talking about a company, TouristGuidance is the best extension for this matter.

You can justify any domain (or anything) to be used as 'you' see it can be used. The thing is how prospective buyers/users see it meaning and being used. So unless you plan to use the domain yourself (as you see it being used), what you 'personally feel' to what something means or could be interpreted to mean, means nothing to others that would need to be convinced to see it as you see it. That is unless you plan to spend the time and energy over and over to 'convince everyone' to see things your way. And good luck with that.

Alright. I appreciate the response. Fourth that doesnt seem to be much in favor of the domain... I guess that means something. Could you translate your feeling to numbers and give me a rough estimate?

Could you please tell me what role does a date of registration play in pricing of the domain?

Yeah, that is a valid critique... Though you probably did not have any interest in the domain in the first place.

If you need to write a short story to sell a name your gonna have issues
Short and sweet. Love it when newbies reg a name and it 3 days then expect xxxx's and need a broker.
$50 value max

Could you elaborate on how does a domains age affect its value? Thanks.

I think the point is with 125M+ .COM domains, there is not really going to be anything that great waiting to be registered in 2017.

Most available domains are available for a reason. No one else wanted them.

Unless a domain is about a new technology or trend, mostly all good domains have been already registered at sometime. If a domain is fairly newly regged, it most likely means no one saw any value in it, and thus it wasn't worth regging it or keeping it up to now.

That seems reasonable to say, theres however still a chance. I got to some good domains this way (AltGr.com for example).

It being spelled out on the keyboard, making it good brand for a tech site for instance made me choose this domain over more valuable ones, as you probably wouldnt expect it would be still out there.

You have the convince a potential buyer. The domain was sitting available to register for the last 5 years when it previously expired.

It seems unlikely that no one registered it when it was available for 5 years, but now is going to pay a premium for it.
