Once again, Go Daddy has made changes to its log in page, and I just snapped. I had to hunt all over for the domain management button. I finally found it, but now I'm p'od. My rep agrees with me and says complaints have been coming his way.

Here's an edited version of what I posted:

Please tell the developers to PLEASE bring back the old interface. I'm getting tired of hunting around for my domain management panel after signing in.

It's a HUGE pain having to go through a bunch of product offerings when all I want to do is manage my domains (after signing in).

Everything at Go Daddy is just getting complicated with bloated domain management panels, slow loading times, glitches, and short log-in periods. I get kicked off my account every five minutes.

I spend too much time trying to navigate these new interfaces, which, frankly are designed to get customers to spend more money and not designed to make our user experience any easier.

Go Daddy has gone overboard with overwhelming customers with waaay too much advertising, and I think GD has reached the point of diminishing returns.

Thank you.

I also posted a version of this on Facebook (both my timeline and Go Daddy's).

Whats even funnier is that godaddy went from showcasing hot girls on their homepage to the new face Van Damme just flexing his muscles everywhere. Not sure what's the point of that but it's funny....

New ceo? Van Damme is the CEO of Godaddy? Interesting... :)

Beware of the domains that godaddy auctions for moniker. I just got burned by a last second bid. Time does not extend in this case!

Just curious if anyone uses the GD android app? I've been holding back on updating it on my phone given all the problems people have been having with the changes on the website. Is it "safe" to do so?
I use it and have not updated because the reviews at the Google Play Store since the upgrade are so bad.

I will only upgrade when the reviews improve or when the old version will no longer work.

There's something funny about those domain listings; they start at $28.00 and show up when you filter for "expiring auctions."

Almost all those domains are hidden behind privacy, so there is no way to know who they belong to.

I have complained about this to my rep, and he tried to reassure me of their validity, but I'm not buying it.

:td:

Something stinks.

I've bought these type of domains before. It was shocking when I was outbid with a few seconds to go and there was no time extension. The rep told me that there are different auction rules since the domain was at moniker. I say really? Different rules why? The auction is still taking place at godaddy so why would rules be changed >:(

Are these domains from actual Moniker customers? Or are these just the expired domains that Moniker is trying to sell before they let them drop?

If that's the case, doesn't that say something when they resort to selling at GD instead of on their own platform at Snapnames?

If I sell a Domainmonster domain at Go Daddy, shouldn't I still have to abide by the same rules as any private seller?

Why does Moniker get a pass, and who really owns the domains? Some bigwig?

I haven't had any other issues with Godaddy's new site, but personally I just use them for the $1 transfers and 0.99 cent registrations. Never been a fan do Godaddy's site or prices, but I transfer out as soon as 60 days is up.

These are actually domains which have expired at moniker. Normal auction rules should apply but do not!

I am slowly leaving Go Daddy. Gandi has an amazing web site. I love it. Registered two handfuls of .IO domains with them over the past few months and have had no problems. Moving some of my dot coms to them now.

Go Daddy doesnt care about the domainer. You would think they'd offer a side-entrance to their site that domainers can enter and do their business quickly without all of the fluff. I dont care about the fluff and I am pretty sure I am not alone. Now I have to stare at that van damm guy every time I go to the site and log in? Then have to dig in 2-3 levels to manage the domains that make them money?

Walmart once did a study on the lifetime value of a lost customer. Its a tremendous figure. Go Daddy needs to pay attention to that.

I think a common browser ad blocker can block individual damme images. :)

@AGAME Have you tried logging in at dcc.godaddy.com instead? It takes you directly to the control panel.

Another trick:

Select your choice from the dropdown menu before signing in. It will take you directly to the login page.

Once you sign in, you will be where you wanted to be.

The Daddy Says "Uncle"?

Van Damn is gone for now as of my log in this morning. GoDaddy tired of the "creepy" complaints? :hehe:

Perhaps it has something to do with Hulk Hogan's new domain hosting website, where he takes on Van Damn in a Youtube commercial:

Hulk Hogan Ad Makes fun of Miley Cyrus Wrecking Ball Video

Wrestling star Hulk Hogan is launching a web hosting business named Hostamania. To promote the service Hulk Hogan stars in a video that takes swings at the new GoDaddy Van Damme commercials and also takes on Miley Cyrus. In the video below you can see Hulk Hogan swinging on a wrecking ball like Miley. Thank god he is not naked, but he wears a very revealing thong, so be warned.

The motivation for Hulk to open up a web hosting service is that he is fed up with web hosts that overcharge and under-deliver, so he's starting his own hosting company - powered by 24-inch pythons. Would you want to be hosted by the Hulk? The Hostamania ad is though very funny watch it below now. It has already over 200,000 views.
