I just wanted to post a small note to hopefully help Toby Clements reclaim his good name. After reading a ton of postings here and on other outlets I understand the guy messed up. I personally spoke to him and he admitted as much. Toby assured me he wants to make everyone whole again, this may take some time.
I just want to post my dealings with him last week. I was selling a name on Flippa and needed some advertising to help jump start the name. I spoke with David and he referred me to his brother. I was skeptical and started asking questions. Instead of lying or pushing back, Toby admitted to his shortcomings, offered his services and guess what? I doubled my money on the name. I gladly gave Toby his money and a bit more for the awesome service.
If we shun the guy , how will he make his money to pay people back? He obviously has some talent. If he had ripped me off, I would be mad as well. We have all made some terrible mistakes in the past and wish we could turn back the clocks.. I pulled a name out of Namesco and I am still paying for that! We all make mistakes.
I am not saying he is perfect , I am only telling you he treated me more than fairly and my domain name doubled what I thought I would get. He communicated throughout the process quickly and delivered on his promise. I hope to have many more transactions with Toby if they are as successful as this one.
I am not going to argue or trash talk with anyone, post your feelings. They are your feelings and you are entitled to them, its not up to me to tell you what to feel.
