discuss To those people who think the domain has no value because its new registered

i saw some debates about the reg date of domains
some people think that because the domain is available so there must be abig secret :D and the domain has no value because no one registered it..

have a look at these examples

Britain.com registered on 1998 and it sold in 1999 for 1000000

altavista.com registered in 1998 and it sold in 1999 for 3250000

so just one year and they have gone for xxxxxxx

may be someone says that.. well that's because they are one word premium domains!

registering names at 1998 means that there were alot of one word domains were available for the reg fee and they were not premium yet..i am sure if some one has put them into appraisals at that time they wouldnt get any value
i am sure there are more examples .
