Hypothetically:

If I reg a typo of a trademarked domain and the only advertising my typo site has on it is an affiliate link pointing to said trademarked domain, is this less risky? Or just as bad as parking a site at microsfot.com?

If their affiliate TOS doesn't expressly prohibit use of their trademark is this still considered "bad faith"?

If they ask for the domain I'd gladly give it to them but mainly I want to minimize any risk of a lawsuit.

Would it be advisable to contact the company first and ask if it's okay? Has any company ever said yes to this when they are obviously legally entitled to the domain?

Has anyone ever been sued over a TM domain issue and lost money without the plaintiff ever asking for the domain first?

Sorry, lots of questions... I've read most of the TM threads here but didn't see my questions answered, sorry if I missed it!

Edit: Haha! microsfot.com IS parked! I thought they cared about their TM!
