domain Throwing myself to the NP wolves...crunchy/company/(dot)com

A friend who is quite intelligent, just not a domainer, believes this name could "easily" sell to an end-user with marketing for much higher that I originally thought. My plan was to start mid(ish)-x,xxx and test the waters. But he has me second-guessing myself on this one.

Please weigh in on this? Even about that mid x,xxx idea. Because I am willingly throwing myself to the wolves here....soooo....make me pay for it?

I wonder why he thinks that. With a hyphen or without I don't see this as more than RegFee. Who would buy this maybe a snack food company? Maybe I'm missing something?

Snack food was one category, health food another. Food aside, the idea that a company leaning towards health and wellness would be happy to identify with the "crunchy" movement. That a lot of companies already utilize crunchy in their names and marketing. That his wife "identifies as crunchy" ! =) He thinks it's a no brainer. And I agree there is a very strong market. Just not sure how much effort I should commit. Which is why I am here in the forum...
