This domain is expiring, how can I register it?

There is a domain I want, it shouldn't be competitive in the least, its just an alternative spelling of my current domain. I have backordered it with Snapnames.com .. is there anything else I should do? Any idea when I might actually be able to register the domain? Thanks -Josh

I think you after 75 days after expiry. (One more chance to the previous owner to renew the domain with higher cost)

Since the name is with netsol it should first be available at namejet.com auctions before it even drops.

Oh, I see that NameJet now gets the domains before anyone else via Netsol. I had read some old posts which suggested Snapnames and that is why I backordered it through them. I will put in a bid with NameJet too I guess.

netsol no longer partners with snapnames.
If you want an expiring name at netsol or enom then namejet is the place to backorder it. Snap is still good for the dropping names.
PS: if you put a backorder at namejet I suggest that you don't place it early as competing members can see how many bids a name has, so you draw attention to the domain...

XYZ is not expiring. Obviously the OP did not want to show the exact domain, so he put in a random domain. XYZ expires in 2010 btw...
