Just thinking about this kind of domain, there's any value on them?
Domains like: e-rate.net e-marketing.org e-store.org and others... or maybe with "i-"??

I recommend to stick with .com if you are going to register this sort of domain. Also hyphens in this sort of domain is a nono as well if you ask me.

stay away from e- in my opinion

Even without the hyphen, e an i prefix domains are played out. The trend doesn't carry the same weight as it did 10 years ago.
