After Years and years Of Domain market, they're now a lot of "Big Fishes" . Do you think there are Opportunities For New Beginers To Enter to the game? they're still Some .Coms For us To invest in them?

As i know, All the Premium .Coms Are still Sold .. And If you want them you should Invest xx Thousands. (No way To invest Just with Reg Fee, As they do 10 years Ago).

So, Are we Still welcome to the .Coms , or we should Just play Down with the .Asias And .In....etc?

Waiting For opinion Of Experts And biginners, too.

Thanks!

I think there are still good .COM opportunities (in both registrations and domain acquisitions) ... but one has to think niche and "outside the box", as well as with developments and promotions (versus raw domain name reselling), IMHO. One area that I feel is still overlooked is at the local geographical - and highly targeted - areas ... xxxxGuide.com / xxxxxJobs.com / xxxxxRestaurants.com and so forth - again, with an emphasis on developments and with a budget for their promotions! :gl: :imho:

Best of Luck.

I agree.
I got 300+ such names.
I sell them for $500 to $1K each to enduser.

Also, there are still many good 2 words names available and many are dropping everyday.

Expect to wait 1 or 2 years to sell.
So, you need to make sure you can at least make enough to renew which is about $.66/month. It may seem easy, but, many domains do not make that unless you do your homework such as checking backlinks, archived pages, ovt, google pages, etc...

Keep your eyes open for new emerging technologies, medical related, etc...

there are loads of two word keyword domain names avaliable for development, just need some patience and intuition to find them. All they have to do is return $10 a year and they are worth buying in my opinion.

There are always opportunities for newcomers in this industry. Is it easy? God no. However, if your clever enough and willing to learn, a reasonable investment can go a long way.

Absolutely there are still decent .com available for hand reg. You just have to search a lot harder.

.asia - my advice is not to waste your money on this extention.

That and just about every other non-main TLD.

Could you please tell me how to do this? Through estibot.com we can figure out all those. My doubt is how to give to give the weightage for each parameter?

That's kind of hard to explain.
It comes with experience and lots of reading stuff about domains.

Besides technical stuff, try to speak out the domain name.
Does it sound ok? is it hard to misspell? easy to remember?

Another way to find possible new domain is "Google Trends".

It's suprising how many people here are jumping upon the .asia bandwagon & how many crappy names in the .asia extention are being regged, even by more experienced members, that probably are not even worth much in the .com or .net let alone the .asia, if it ever takes off slightly.

It is surprising at how many are being registered. I have to admit though that I jumped on the bandwagon and registered some. I will keep it under 10 though as I don't have much faith in the extension and pretty much everything worth registering is taken.

Thats because quite a few people forgot about .eu (Or never learned) and are still looking for the next "score"...

Thats not to say you cant be successful registering .asia domains - I just feel that money is better invested in proven TLDs with a substancially better chance at a good return.

I regged about 100 porn .eu's with high overtures after the .eu went live. No problem to pick up any two-word domain I wanted. I dropped them all 1 year later. Earned <$10 on the lot. I'm not going to make that mistake again ;)
