I tried but personally I wasn't very successful in the XYZ domain. I now focus mostly on .com, and sometimes .org.

I bought 40-50 recently. Will they sell? Only time will tell, but there have been recent six-figure sales, which is encouraging. Most of my small portfolio is dot-coms, too. I just thought it might be a good idea to diversify.
