I was in one of those dollar store places yesterday where they sell cheap Chinese knockoffs, and I saw the worst mistranslation/typo ever.
It was on a bug terrarium thing. It was supposed to say "Insects, fun for the whole family!"

but rather unfortunately, in big letters, it read "Incest, fun for the whole family"
ewwwww.... D-:
I should have taken a picture :(

You would think that alteast somewhere along the line, before it ends-up on shelves, somebody in the chain would have brains enough to notice D-: But, such does not suprise me at all. A few years back I was invloved with a criminal case of a guy who was, at the time, serving part of his sentence in a half-way house for child molestation. I had basically, over weeks, begin spending more time at that half-way house than I was at home, becuase I believed they had some very unique and workable ways of changing sex offenders around for the better. One of those ways was using the music they loved, and the house had two bands formed amongst its residents. One of them was a "hard-core" rap band. Now I'm not into rap music, normally (no need to comment...to each his/her own taste in music :imho: ), but this I didn't mind, as the words to the music were rather "clean" and it preached anti-drug and anti-violence messages. To say I actually started listning to that style music abit more, aftewards, is to their credit. An anonymous donor was so pleased listening to their music, that the donor went out and ordered t-shirts for all the band members with their logo on it. The staff of the house had approved the design, and the shirts were ordered. It was their logo on front, and the words "Living The Rapped LifeStyle!" (corky, yes, but I didn't come-up with it...lol) on the back. Somehow, when the shirts arrived, the staff members who presented the "suprise packages" to the members of the band, hadn't looked into them first. Members went into their rooms to change into them, when the first one opened his and they realized what they were. One yelled for staffers to come into the restroom. Once in there, the staff members realized the problem. The back of the shirts had "Living The Raped LifeStyle!"...Some nucklehead printer had missed th "p", and sent these to a bunch of guys serving time for rape and child molestation >:(

I was at a PetsMart, and they made a small mistake when placing some ads on signs in their store. They had an ad saying "Upgrade to premium dogfood!". Right next to this message, there was picture of a dog licking a cat. These 2 signs were over the area where you buy cats.
